Former Miss South Africa Basetsana Khumalo has been pulled out of Miss SA 2016 following an accident.

The announcement came just days before the much anticipated crowning event that is scheduled for Saturday.
Khumalo is said to be undergoing surgery after she broke her ankle at her son's school following a concert.
"[Khumalo] had an unfortunate accident yesterday at her son’s school after watching him play at a concert. She slipped in the rain and broke her ankle and is currently in hospital undergoing surgery," said Stephanie Well from MISS SA PR company.
Miss SA has decided not to replace Khumalo on the judging panel meaning her score on the 12 women gunning for the title remains.
Miss SA contestants: Elizabeth Molapo (Bloemfontein, Free State); Felicia Muwayi (Nelspruit, Mpumalanga); Luyolo Mngonyama (Umtata, Eastern Cape); Marciel Hopkins (Paarl, Western Cape); Mikaela Oosthuizen (Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape); Ntandoyenkosi Kunene (Mkhondo, Mpumalanga); Reabetswe Sechoaro (Pretoria East, Gauteng); Ronette Chambers (Cape Town, Western Cape); Sarah Botes (Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng); Schané Venter (Alberton, Gauteng); Sharon-Rose Khumalo (Pretoria, Gauteng) and Tayla Skye Robinson (Roodepoort, Gauteng).
