To lose someone so close to you. This is the part of life that ultimately sucks. Having to let go of someone who was so close to you and really not getting closure. Or perhaps the closure is in knowing that life is a beautiful lie and truth. The ugly truth.
Whatever the case, I can’t image the pain Wahu lives with knowing her father is dead and gone. But perhaps, scant as it might be, she can seek solace in the knowledge that he is in a better place.
She took to social media to mourn her father with a very touching message. I was compelled to share:
